Overview
Styleaton Salon web page for desktop and mobile was created as a personal project for the salon’s owner, who only has her work on other platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

Problem
People who get their hair done professionally find it inefficient to always open social media platforms in order to see the stylist’s work or the location of the salon, and there is a need of creating a web page that would show all the important information in order to book an appointment.
Solution
Create a design for the hair salon’s website by using real clients’ pictures to show stylist’s proficiency and provide booking information to enhance user experience by making it visually appealing, easy to navigate, and optimized for mobile devices.

Color palette
A palette of pink and teal shades was selected to create fresh, appealing, and professional look that reflects the beauty and care associated with a hair salon.
User Persona
First Prototypes
The first idea was to make multiple screens ans made it only for the mobile, but after it was done for mobile, it was adjusted to fit desktop screen as well.

Results
The project showcases some of the pictures of the stylist’s work with all of the essential information that can help new clients with booking their first appointment. The website is user-friendly and very simple to navigate on.
Next Steps
I would work more on the contrast of some text on the website to make sure it is readable in all of the conditions and would work on the navigation bar. Also, I would add an option to leave a request for an appointment online and not only over the phone.
